Therapeutic Support Specialist Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to provide goal-focused therapeutic support to children and young people in collaboration with their families. Our team works closely with clients, families, and other professionals to deliver effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Therapeutic Support Delivery: Provide direct therapeutic support to children and young people, working collaboratively with them and their families to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all therapeutic activities, ensuring timely updates and reporting as required.
  • Safeguarding: Understand and adhere to all child protection safeguarding procedures, upholding the highest standards of care and safety.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Liaise effectively with other professionals, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance service delivery.
  • Service Development: Contribute to the development and expansion of our services, working closely with colleagues to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • A recognised qualification in Behavioural Therapy or equivalent, accompanied by at least 3 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Client Work Experience: Proven ability to work with diverse clients, showcasing adaptability and clinical acumen.
  • Teamwork and Organisation: Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to plan, prioritise, and manage own workload efficiently.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within the team and with external partners.
