Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy to improve patients' abilities to perform daily activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current registration with CORU as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working in a hospital setting preferred
  • Full driving license and access to own car is desirable
  • Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapy to improve patients' abilities to perform daily activities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for continued care
