Job Title: Chief Risk Officer, EuropeJob Description:

We are seeking a seasoned risk expert to lead the development, implementation and oversight of our credit risk framework in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing a robust credit risk management framework for retail credit products
  • Maintaining and overseeing the implementation of the Retail Credit Risk Appetite Statement
  • Providing effective second-line oversight of credit risk activities
  • Leading regular reviews of the credit portfolio's asset quality
  • Establishing robust credit risk monitoring and early warning processes
  • Reviewing and challenging credit risk models

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation and report directly to the Chief Risk Officer.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in credit risk management, preferably in digital banking or fintech environments
  • Detailed knowledge of consumer finance, including retail credit products such as loans, cards and overdraft lending
  • Detailed understanding of IFRS9, CRR/CRD prudential regulation and regulatory expectations in Ireland and Europe

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced professional who can effectively manage and oversee credit risk activities.
