About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Design Engineer to join our civil department in Dublin. As a key member of the team, you will lead the detailed civil engineering design of pavements, underground drainage, and utilities for large industrial projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering design standards, proficiency in industry-leading software, and excellent communication skills. They will also have experience in managing the inspection of civil engineering works on site and completing BCAR reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement civil engineering designs that meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, design disciplines, and construction management teams.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality civil engineering designs.
  • Carry out site inspections and prepare BCAR reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a Master's preferred.
  • Chartered status with Engineers Ireland or similar body.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the detailed design of large industrial projects.
