Data Driven Insights Specialist

The Procurement Data Insights team works closely with various teams, including Sourcing, Category Management, Contract Management, Supplier Risk Management, and Due Diligence. The role of the Procurement Insights Manager is critical in driving strategic decision-making and value delivery across the organization.

This position involves delivering meaningful analysis and intelligence based on data available within Flutter. You will be responsible for using Market Intelligence (MI) to help optimize spend, manage supplier performance, and find opportunities for improvement.

As a key player in Procurement analytics and insights, you will regularly advise category leaders and provide visionary thinking to guide procurement initiatives. Your strong analytical capabilities, combined with excellent communication skills, will enable you to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Through collaboration with Procurement and Business partners, you will ensure that data is not just reported but used to drive value, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the Procurement function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver timely, accurate, and actionable insights using internal data and external market intelligence to support procurement strategy and performance optimization.
• Translate data into strategic insights that advise decision-making, supporting commercial goals and working with collaborators to ensure effective use of insights.
• Ensure data-driven insights are presented in a compelling and accessible way, using storytelling techniques to clearly explain trends, risks, and opportunities to technical and non-technical collaborators.
• Shape sourcing and category strategies by contextualizing data within the broader business environment, ensuring insights are relevant and actionable.
• Develop and manage dashboards and models, reports, and key deliverables that uncover trends in spend, supplier performance, support strategic sourcing, and procurement excellence.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by using insights to drive efficiency and value across procurement operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Deep procurement experience with a strong analytical capability, preferably in procurement analytics, spend analysis, or business intelligence.

Strong eye for business with the ability to understand broader commercial objectives and translate analytical outputs into strategic recommendations.

Excellent storytelling skills, enabling you to craft clear, concise narratives from sophisticated data to influence senior decision-makers.

Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Power BI, PowerPoint, and analytical tools like Excel, SQL.

Experience with Market Intelligence, including research and application within a procurement function.

Consistent record of leading teams and supporting people development.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with a proactive and curious mentality.
