Senior Quantity Surveyor
About the Role:We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support our large-scale Pharma project in South Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Quantity Surveying, both pre and post contract. This includes preparing capital cost estimates, advising on building economics, producing lifecycle cost estimates, and drafting contract packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for capital projects
- Provide expert advice on tendering procedures and contract arrangements
- Draft and negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors
- Manage and coordinate the procurement process from initiation to closeout
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Chartered (or close to Chartership) with SCSI
- Minimum 8 years experience in a consultant environment carrying out pre and post contract duties
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to produce accurate work to project deadlines
