Lead Mechanical Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced mechanical design engineer to join our team in Dublin, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:- Conceptualize and architect machine designs to meet performance and cost targets.
- Maintain technical knowledge on food sorting applications and offer support to sorting issues.
- Cooperate on technical improvements and make improvement proposals.
- Organise and lead design reviews and FMEA sessions to ensure perfect quality of design.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to present complex technical information in a user-friendly manner.
Requirements:- A minimum of 10 years "hands-on" working experience in mechanical design engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD and experienced user of Solidworks.
- Experience with sheet metal, turning, milling, and welding of Stainless Steel.
- Able to travel abroad frequently, based on a flexible schedule.
