Job Overview:This role involves working in a residential setting, empowering service users to live independent lives within their home and community.
- Assist service users with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household duties.
- Transport service users to facilitate access to daily living activities and community events.
- Maintain safe working conditions and report potential hazards, incidents, and concerns.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with the team and service users.
- Hold a QQI Level 5 qualification in a relevant healthcare field or equivalent experience.
- Be at least 18 years old and possess excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Hold a full clean manual driving license and have access to own transport.
- Knowledge of HIQA standards and previous experience in social care or a related field is desirable.
