Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team in Co. Monaghan.

This role involves delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting audits, and managing key financial processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, profit and loss statements, balance sheet controls, and cash flow analysis
  • Presentation of financial information at management meetings
  • Preparation of financial statements and year-end audit files
  • Liaising with auditors and supporting the year-end audit process
  • Coordination of annual general meeting preparations
  • Management of foreign exchange requirements and grower loan accounts
  • Administration of operational programs in line with Producer Organisation regulations
  • Preparation of EU assistance claims and audit documentation
  • Support for Department of Agriculture audits
  • Oversight of operating procedures and ensuring compliance
  • Support for accounts payable, receivable, and banking functions
  • Building relationships with stakeholders, board members, auditors, consultants, and suppliers
  • Ad hoc reporting and tasks as directed by senior management

Requirements:

  • A relevant third-level qualification
  • Part-qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 2 years of accounting experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and general IT skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Ability to work on-site in Co. Monaghan
