Key Rail Expertise Role

For over 60 years, the Group has been committed to helping cities and regions contribute to their development by creating, improving and modernising their transport infrastructure with sustainability at the heart of our designs.

We are seeking an experienced consultant with rail industry expertise to be part of our consultancy team in Ireland. The role will be based in our Dublin office, but we are open to applications looking to be based in our Cork office.

You will be part of a growing team that is supporting Irish Rail and have the opportunity to collaborate on wider UK & International projects.

Missions/Main Duties:

  • Manage small projects with an opportunity to play a leading role on large projects.
  • Provide advisory services on the benefits of rail in land use and transport planning.
  • Actively participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate to ensure project objectives are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Profile/Skills:

  • Hold a Level 8 degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • The successful candidate will be progressing towards a Chartered Engineer (CEng) MIEI or equivalent recognised professional qualification.
  • Proven ability to prepare scheme option selection reports aligned with Transport Appraisal Framework or similar guidance.
  • Proven ability to monitor and handle multiple projects at the same time.
