Job Title
  • Visual Merchandising Expert

Elevate the visual appeal of our stores to exceed competitor standards. This role involves leading and managing a team to create engaging in-store displays, optimizing stock positioning, and collaborating with various departments to drive sales and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize Store Displays: Strategically position stock to meet store tier status, sales history, and demand.
  • Lead Visual Merchandising Team: Manage in-store visual merchandisers and regional VM leads to achieve visual excellence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Stock Control, Purchasing, Retail Operations, Marketing, Web ecommerce, and logistics teams to support Visual Merchandising initiatives.
  • Store Manager Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with store managers, sharing information and feedback to optimize layouts and displays.
  • Marketing Partnerships: Collaborate with the marketing team on window displays, in-store graphics, and promotional campaigns.
  • Floor Plan Design: Oversee the design and execution of floor plans, product zoning, and layout strategies.
  • Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular competitor analysis to monitor trends, identify opportunities, and benchmark visual merchandising standards across the home and furniture retail sector.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: 5+ years in visual merchandising within the furniture or home retail industry, with at least 3 years in a similar senior role.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills to lead and manage a high-performing visual merchandising team.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects across different locations and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Creative Flair: Creative flair with commercial awareness and an eye for detail to drive visual excellence.
