Job Opportunity:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished Construction Professional to assume a leadership role on a significant educational project in Ennis, Co Clare.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safe and timely completion of construction works, aligning with project drawings, specifications, and building regulations.
  • Manage the technical and engineering aspects of site operations, including RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings, and Design Team Workshops.
  • Set out site works using advanced surveying tools, guaranteeing precise measurements and layouts.
  • Maintain quality control measures, adhering to the overall BCAR plan for the project.
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and quantity surveyors to achieve project goals.
  • Support the Project Manager/Contracts Manager to ensure that works are completed as per programme, to a high standard.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of various construction methods and techniques.
  • 2-4 years of experience on Irish construction projects.
  • Proficiency in set out, survey & level, temporary works coordination.
  • Strong numeracy and report writing skills.
  • Ability to develop plans and execute them within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Capacity to make informed decisions and know when to escalate.
