We are seeking organized individual who has an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or similar) and wants to take on increased responsibility.

Key responsibilities include preparation of annual corporation tax charge, analysing capital expenditure for purposes of capital allowances, review of excise duty returns and alcohol process throughout the company, international taxation reporting, and participation in internal and external tax audits.

Requirements include recognised Tax qualification and/or ACA/ACCA, previous experience in an EU VAT management role, extensive knowledge of existing and proposed VAT legislation, and experience of working with large ERP system like SAP or Oracle.

  • Job Title: Senior Accounting Specialist

Job Overview:

As a senior accounting specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial reports and statements.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  1. Preparing annual corporation tax charge in accordance with relevant tax laws and regulations
  2. Analysing capital expenditure for purposes of capital allowances to ensure compliance with relevant tax authorities
  3. Reviewing excise duty returns and alcohol process to identify areas for improvement
  4. Providing expert advice on international taxation matters to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
  5. Participating in internal and external tax audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports and statements

Required skills and qualifications include:

  1. Recognised Tax qualification and/or ACA/ACCA
  2. Previous experience in an EU VAT management role
  3. Extensive knowledge of existing and proposed VAT legislation
  4. Experience of working with large ERP system like SAP or Oracle
