Job Opportunity

PUNCH Consulting Engineers is seeking a highly skilled Bridge Engineer to work on a range of Bridges and Civil Structures projects. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a core team responsible for the technical, managerial and commercial aspects of projects.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience in engineering consultancy and possess a strong understanding of engineering principles. They should also be proficient in structural design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, SCIA, TEDDS suite, CADS suite, STRAP, etc., and have excellent conceptual design abilities.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • A sound understanding of engineering principles and a strong technical focus.
  • Excellent conceptual design abilities to provide robust and economical solutions.
  • Significant base of IT skills including structural design software, REVIT + AutoCAD skills, and proficiency in MS Office applications.

As a successful Bridge Engineer, you will be able to source and use new design software to benefit project work and have a high level of commercial understanding and application. You will also be able to work closely in partnership with clients and contractors and other members of design teams.
