Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled ASIC Design Engineer to join our team in Cork. As a key member of the GPU Team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced GPU architecture, micro-architecting blocks and modules, and optimizing hardware design for better performance, power, and cost.
Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating hardware feasibilities of complex algorithms and requirements, developing micro-architecture and specification of new generation designs, and providing essential verification and debugging activities throughout the project cycle.
The ideal candidate will have wide-ranging experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog design, Synopsys synthesis, low power design, test plan development, and coverage-based design verification.
Prior experience in designing RTL for GPU, CPU, DSP, Machine-Learning, cache, controller, video, display, camera blocks in ASIC is essential. Familiarity with Graphics API (OpenGL, Vulkan, Direct3D, etc.) is also desired. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team player are crucial.
