Job Title:

Production Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. As a Production Operations Specialist, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of automated equipment and contributing to the achievement of manufacturing excellence.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience as a technician in a high-volume automated environment, with a strong understanding of setup, operation, and maintenance of specific equipment sets used in manufacturing processes.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electro/mechanical equipment failures, scheduling and performing preventative maintenance procedures, and interacting with other departments to coordinate equipment repairs.

In addition, you will work proactively to ensure performance targets are met and provide detailed inputs into failed spare parts management process.

  • Technical Ability: Strong knowledge of setup, operation, and maintenance of specific equipment sets used in manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Initiative: Ability to work on own initiative, is self-driven.

A valid diploma or certificate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required. Working knowledge of PLCs, Motor drives, pneumatic and hydraulic components is an advantage.
