Job Title: Senior Financial Management Expert

Job Description:

Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead our finance operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and analytical skills, with a strong background in financial management and accounting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Oversee the efficient payment of suppliers, maintaining a cost-effective approach.
  • Prepare accounts for auditors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage invoices, budgets, and cash flows.
  • Design and implement automated systems to improve financial processes.
  • Provide high-quality financial reporting and analysis, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Manage labour budget and planning, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Deliver quality financial commentary, variance analysis, and recommendations.
  • Manage capex spends, ROI, and cost/benefit analysis.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or similar qualifications).
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in retail or ecommerce is essential.
  • Good knowledge of local accounting standards, IFRS, and payroll calculation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
