Electrical Design Engineer Opportunity

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems, circuits, and components for projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards, performance, and efficient implementation.

Job Description:
  • Develop comprehensive electrical system interface documents (EI drawings, single-line diagrams) to facilitate seamless project execution.
  • Design and document control console layouts and switchgear specifications to optimize system performance.
  • Ensure effective integration of electrical subsystems to guarantee overall system reliability.
  • Analyze customer requirements to determine precise electrical needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Identify project-specific and standard solutions to meet client expectations.
  • Document and fulfill all electrical requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Liaise with customers on design specifications to ensure mutual understanding and satisfaction.
  • Communicate requirements to switchgear engineers and software developers to facilitate collaborative efforts.
  • Support testing, procurement, and production activities to guarantee timely project completion.
  • Ensure commissioning engineers understand test requirements to prevent delays or errors.
  • Specify components, support procurement, and create production documentation to streamline the process.
  • Collaborate with production and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, testing, and selecting new technologies to enhance system performance.
  • Prepare technical documents and update as-built drawings to maintain accurate project records.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 2+ years of experience in a similar position is required.
  • A degree in Automation / Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic Engineering is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Zuken E3 or similar drawing packages is an asset.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
