Job Title: Flexographic Printer

Job Description:

Flexographic printers play a critical role in the packaging industry. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our production team.

The primary responsibility of this position is to operate flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality prints on adhesive tape. Key responsibilities include setting up and monitoring machines, ensuring productivity targets are met, and adhering to strict quality standards.

  • Efficiently set up, operate, and monitor flexographic printing presses.
  • Daily productivity responsibilities ensuring that daily production targets are met.
  • Follow job specifications, colour standards and production requirements.

Adjusting and recording ink formulations, continuous quality checking, and confirming print standards are maintained and that all jobs are produced to the highest quality level.

Collaboration with other departments to meet production deadlines and avoid downtime is also essential.

Maintaining a clean and organized work area and reporting any potential maintenance issues to the Production Manager is crucial for smooth operations.

  • Strong understanding of machine setup and monitoring.
  • Ability to ensure productivity targets are met.
  • Knowledge of colour standards and production requirements.
