Job Description

Cybersecurity Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of secure technologies.

  • Embed security principles into technologies, supporting threat modeling activities across the community
  • Critically assess system architectures and suggest improvements & controls
  • Foster a positive security attitude among teams you partner with
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior colleagues
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging security threats and their impact on our systems

About You:

  • 7+ years of experience in Application Security, Software Engineering, or Public Cloud Platform Engineering
  • Proven ability to conduct security assessments using code reviews, threat modeling, system analysis, etc.
  • Experience with public cloud technologies, automation, and cloud native applications, GCP and/or AWS preferred
  • Deep understanding of security concepts/methods/protocols in areas such as authentication, authorization, role-based access control, encryption, and penetration testing
  • A desire to collaborate with security and development teams

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with service teams and cross-functional initiatives
  • Secure technologies and support threat modeling activities across the community
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior colleagues

Requirements:

  • Basic Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in Application Security, Software Engineering, or Public Cloud Platform Engineering
  • Other Qualifications: Practical knowledge of enterprise application software development and developer workflows with skills in at least one modern application or system programming language (e.g., Java, C++, C#, Scala, Go, Rust, Python)
