Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Professional Regulatory Senior Associate to join our Public, Regulatory and Investigations team.
We are looking for an ambitious solicitor with strong general experience in litigation and professional regulatory or healthcare law. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to further their career in a Tier 1 ranked team.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage and prepare complaints for oral hearing before fitness to practise committees, including taking witness statements, briefing experts, and attending oral hearings. They will also be responsible for drafting legal documents, case management of disciplinary hearings, and providing regulatory advice.
This is a challenging role that requires proactive working collaboratively within a team environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and possess a high level of professionalism.
Responsibilities:- Manage and prepare complaints for oral hearing before fitness to practise committees.
- Draft legal documents, including notices of inquiry, special summonses, terms of undertakings, affidavits of service etc.
- Case management of disciplinary hearings.
- Provide regulatory advice, protecting the interests of the regulators represented.
- Ongoing mentoring and training of Assistant Solicitors, Trainees and Legal Assistants.
