The role of Trainee Accountant is an exciting opportunity for individuals to develop their skills and knowledge in financial services. As a Trainee Accountant, you will have the chance to work with a variety of clients and gain experience in different areas of accountancy.

">Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements;

  • Participation in performance of audits;

  • Compilation of management accounts and other management reporting and bookkeeping;

  • Preparation of corporation Tax, VAT, RCT and Income Tax returns;

  • Preparation and processing of Payroll;

  • Liaising with banks, legal firms, Revenue and other professional advisers;

  • Management of client Company Secretarial requirements;

  • Work under supervision of senior staff members and provide support.

">Requirements:

  • Achievement of at least a 2.1 in accountancy or a business-related degree;

  • Obtaining 420+ points at Leaving Cert level (or equivalent);

  • Motivation and ability to work both as part of a team and independently;

  • Strong communication and English language skills;

  • Enthusiasm about developing career;

  • Endeavour to continually improve skills and knowledge.
