Job Title: Demand Planning Lead

Description:

The Demand Planning Manager will play a crucial role in creating and implementing demand forecasting processes and procedures for a leading beverage company.

This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Customer Services, Supply Planning, Operations, and Sector/Market Supply Chain, Finance & Commercial teams to ensure timely and accurate forecast inputs.

The manager will lead the development of accurate demand forecasts that will drive the supply chain planning process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, including historical sales trends, market trends, and upcoming promotions or events, to develop accurate demand forecasts.
  • Developing and maintaining statistical/machine learning models and forecast tools to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Analyzing forecast results to identify trends and areas of improvement, and adjusting the forecasting approach accordingly.
  • Designing and implementing Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to align demand forecasts cross-functionally.

Requirements:

  • At least 8-10 years of progressive experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with supporting consensus forecasting tools/systems and designing and implementing an IBP process.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
