We are seeking an experienced and skilled Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team in a busy dental practice located in North East Dublin.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, assisting with treatment procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized dental surgery.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be self-motivated, and have a positive attitude towards working with patients. Previous experience as a Dental Nurse in a clinic environment is an advantage.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your career in a fast-paced and expanding environment. You will work closely with our dental receptionist to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Competent chairside assistance skills during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Excellent patient record keeping and accurate and detailed dental charting and treatment notes.
- Maintain a clean and organized dental surgery, following strict infection control protocols.
- Decontamination and sterilization of dental instruments, equipment, and materials for treatment.
- Ensure all health safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
- Manage and maintain dental supplies and inventory, restocking as necessary.
- Collaborate with the dental receptionist to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling.
- Assist with dental laboratory procedures, including pouring and trimming models, and fabricating temporary restorations.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Personable, positive and enthusiastic with a strong patient care.
- Must have a good attitude and team player.
- Have a great command of the English language (both written and oral).
- The ability to exhibit a positive attitude, take initiative and always put the patients first.
- Previous experience preferred (Experience working as a Dental Nurse in a clinic environment is an advantage).
- Proven ability to prioritize and multitask within a fast-paced environment.
Working Hours:
Full-time position over 4 days, Monday to Friday, with a schedule that ensures excellent work-life balance.
Salary:
Negotiable depending on experience.
