Senior Automation Solutions Specialist

As an Automation Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation-based systems and solutions.
A typical day involves designing and configuring Rockwell factory talk systems (DCS), thin manager, asset centre, to provide flexible, innovative, cost-effective, compliant, and quality-focused manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of projects from development into production environment, overseeing migration of data from legacy systems to new applications, and acting as a subject matter expert for historian and data integration solutions.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Programming languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential for designing and implementing automation solutions.
- Protocols: Understanding protocols such as OPC, UPC-UA, MQTT, TCP/IP, HTTP is critical for ensuring appropriate monitoring, alerting, and response to network, system, application issues affecting functionality and availability.
