Hotel Reservation Agent

A career as a Hotel Reservation Agent offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, exceeding guest expectations and creating memorable experiences.

You will be responsible for processing reservations via phone, email, and online channels, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay for our valued guests.

The role involves answering incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries regarding room reservations, assisting guests with booking rooms, processing payments, and confirming reservation details.

You will also offer room upgrades, packages, and additional services to enhance the guest experience, handle reservation modifications and cancellations efficiently and courteously, and maintain accurate reservation records.

Additionally, you will provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions, build rapport with guests, and address their concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process reservations via phone, email, and online channels
  2. Assist guests with booking rooms, processing payments, and confirming reservation details
  3. Offer room upgrades, packages, and additional services
  4. Handle reservation modifications and cancellations
  5. Maintain accurate reservation records
  6. Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a reservations role, preferably within the hospitality industry
  2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  3. Proficient in reservation software and property management systems
  4. Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
  5. Positive and welcoming attitude
