An exceptional opportunity for a Senior Fund Accountant has arisen to lead the finance team in managing sovereign development and wealth funds.

  • Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing daily and monthly management reporting, completing daily reviews of fund NAV and custodian reporting, monitoring custodians against service level agreements, recording key performance indicators, assisting in the preparation of VAT returns and statutory reporting, contributing to the development of finance processes for new funds, reviewing and processing capital call and distribution notices, and participating in year-end valuation processes and liaising with external valuers and auditors.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or third-level qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field is desirable.
  • At least five years' experience in fund accounting with knowledge of hedge markets is essential.
  • Custodian oversight and portfolio management systems are advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general ledger applications is necessary.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
