Leisure Club Manager Job Description

Our esteemed hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leisure Club Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our leisure facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of fitness instructors, lifeguards, and other staff members to ensure exceptional service delivery to our members and hotel guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall operation of the leisure club, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the leisure team to achieve excellence in their roles.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Oversee scheduling of classes, swim lessons, and personal training sessions.
  • Handle membership sales, renewals, and customer relationship management.
  • Maintain accurate records including maintenance logs, pool chemical checks, and team rosters.
  • Liaise with hotel management to align the club's offerings with guest expectations and brand standards.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in managing a leisure or fitness facility (ideally within a hotel or health club).
  • Swim Teacher Certificate - essential.
  • Lifeguard Certificate - essential.
  • Fitness Instructor qualification - essential.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations, particularly in aquatic environments.
