**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise data architecture. This role will be responsible for ensuring that our data systems align with business objectives and support data-driven decision-making.

As a senior architect, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to develop scalable data solutions that leverage modern technologies. You will also play a pivotal role in shaping our data ecosystem, from strategy and design to execution and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive data architectures, including data models, pipelines, and integration strategies that support business goals.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of data lakes, warehouses, and modern data stacks using tools like Databricks.
  • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, with a focus on GDPR compliance, data privacy, and security best practices.
  • Work closely with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to identify data needs, enhance data production and management processes, and drive adoption of data solutions.
  • Create detailed architectural blueprints, documentation, and standards for data systems to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture and/or data engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Power BI for data processing, analytics, and visualization.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, including data storage, processing, and security features.
  • Familiarity with data governance, compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and security best practices.
  • Deep understanding of modern data stack technologies, including ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and big data tools.
