Lead Enterprise Data Architect.

Description

We are seeking a seasoned data architect to lead the design and implementation of our enterprise data architecture. This role will shape our data ecosystem, from strategy and design to execution and documentation.

  • Design and Implementation: Develop comprehensive data architectures that support business goals and ensure they are scalable, secure, and performant.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Oversee the implementation of data lakes, warehouses, and modern data stacks using tools like Databricks. Work closely with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to identify data needs and drive adoption of data solutions.
  • Documentation and Governance: Establish data governance frameworks and advise on data management policies to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture and/or data engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Power BI for data processing, analytics, and visualization.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Familiarity with data governance, compliance standards, and security best practices.
  • Deep understanding of modern data stack technologies and big data tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience managing data lakes and optimizing data workflows.
  • Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) tools or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Knowledge of additional data technologies such as SQL, NoSQL databases, Apache Spark, Kafka, ML with Python.
  • Prior experience in regulated industries with a focus on data compliance.
  • Certifications in cloud architecture or data management.
  • Master's degree in Computer/Data Science.
