Senior Data Architect Position

We seek an experienced data architect to design and implement enterprise data architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and supporting data-driven decision-making.

  • The successful candidate will lead the development of comprehensive data architectures, including data models, pipelines, and integration strategies that support business goals.
  • Strong understanding and articulation of the purpose and application of data across the organization is essential.
  • Responsibilities include designing and overseeing the implementation of data lakes, warehouses, and modern data stacks using tools like Databricks.
  • Achieving scalable, secure, and performant architectures is crucial.
  • The data architect will establish and enforce data governance frameworks, focusing on GDPR compliance, data privacy, and security best practices.
  • Key skills include advising on data management policies to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Collaboration with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to identify data needs, enhance data production and management processes, and drive adoption of data solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture and/or data engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Power BI for data processing, analytics, and visualization.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, including data storage, processing, and security features.
  • Familiarity with data governance, compliance standards (e.g., GDPR), and security best practices.
  • Deep understanding of modern data stack technologies, including ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and big data tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
