Senior Enterprise Data Architect

This is a highly sought-after position that requires the lead architect to design and implement an enterprise data architecture that aligns with business objectives and supports data-driven decision-making.


About the Role

Our company is seeking a talented individual to join our team in Ireland. In this senior role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to develop scalable data solutions that leverage modern technologies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive data architectures, including data models, pipelines, and integration strategies that support business goals.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of data lakes, warehouses, and modern data stacks using tools like Databricks.
  • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, with a focus on GDPR compliance, data privacy (including HIPAA where applicable), and security best practices.
  • Work closely with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to identify data needs, enhance data production and management processes, and drive adoption of data solutions.
  • Create detailed architectural blueprints, documentation, and standards for data systems to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture and/or data engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Power BI for data processing, analytics, and visualization.
