Job Title: Business Development Manager - Midlands

As a key player in the world food market, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager - Midlands. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate ordering and availability of vital stock support the sales team.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a keen eye for details, possessing strong analytical skills and computer literacy. They will have 3-5 years of field sales experience within the world food foodservice sales market, fluency in Mandarin and English, and an in-depth knowledge of the Irish World Food market.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and growing the customer base in their assigned area, being responsive and flexible to their customers' needs, and having a proactive approach to problem solving and issue resolution.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for consistent delivery of sales, profit and margin targets for their assigned area
  • Responsible for role modeling and building effective relationships with key customers and stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Advocate and drive consistent use of all available system tools

Requirements:
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English
  • An in-depth knowledge of the Irish World Food market
  • Strong credit control skills
  • 3-5 years field sales experience within the world food foodservice sales market
  • High level of flexibility
  • Be a team player with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Have a proactive approach to customer needs
  • Strong analytical skills and computer literacy
  • Full clean B Driving License
  • Capability of proving credibility with customers and building strong customer relationships preferred
  • Highly motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.
