Senior Electronic Design Engineer Role

This Cork-based engineering and manufacturing organization seeks a highly skilled Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join its technical team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative hardware solutions (analog, digital, and power electronics) for servo-drive products, ensuring compliance with performance specifications, cost & reliability targets, regulatory standards, DFM & DFT requirements.
  • Contribute to all aspects of the hardware life cycle, including requirements definition, architectural design, implementation, integration, and testing as part of a multi-site development team.
  • Engage in design reviews and business reviews as required.
  • Work towards achieving defined project goals/milestones within tight project schedules.
  • Support a reasonable level of travel, including on-site customer support.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2nd Class (Hons) degree or equivalent in electronics/electrical engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, problem identification, analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-oriented and deadline-driven, with a high degree of accountability, commitment, and responsibility.
  • Ability to produce high-quality results under tight time constraints.
Desirable Skills:
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with senior customers, management, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
