**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced product development engineer to lead our new product development efforts. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative medical devices, manufacturing processes, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of new products by leading technical assessments of design inputs and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Translate regulatory, quality, marketing, and human factors inputs into product requirements and specifications.
  • Interface with stakeholders to identify product opportunities and develop solutions.
  • Provide direction on higher-level engineering efforts to design products, processes, equipment, and components.
  • Perform product testing and create models and prototypes to prove out new designs.
  • Lead engineering development projects, including problem-solving initiatives to resolve manufacturing or product performance issues.
  • Champion continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment using lean manufacturing and statistical data analysis techniques.
  • Participate in project, design, and technical reviews.
  • Interview and recommend department personnel, including engineers and interns.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate improvements to existing products and manufacturing processes.
