About the Role

At Adare Manor, we are seeking an exceptional Bar Manager to lead our team at The Tack Room, a renowned cocktail and whiskey bar. As a creative and knowledgeable beverage professional, you will shape one of Ireland's most unique bar experiences.

Job Description
  • Oversee the seamless day-to-day running of The Tack Room
  • Ensure that all team members consistently deliver to Adare Manor's high standards of service and hospitality
  • Lead, train, and develop a team of Bartenders, Mixologists, and Service Staff
  • Drive profitability while maintaining financial oversight and cost control
  • Deliver memorable guest experiences, with a focus on storytelling, product knowledge, and exceptional attention to detail
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety legislation, and internal policies
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years of leadership experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel or high-end cocktail bar
  • Exceptional knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktails, with a passion for industry trends and innovation
  • A confident and motivational leader, committed to staff development and team engagement
  • Intuitive and warm guest service, with a strong eye for detail and an understanding of luxury standards
  • Fluent communication skills in spoken and written English
  • The ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, while managing high expectations
  • Experience working with Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards is a strong advantage
  • A recognised qualification in hospitality, bartending, or culinary arts (preferred)
