As a senior civil engineer, you will be responsible for leading project teams and overseeing complex engineering projects. This role plays a crucial part in shaping the built environment, from designing infrastructure to developing sustainable solutions.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced senior civil engineer to join our team in Cork, Ireland. You will be working on various projects across the energy sector, including power plants, HV substations, and HV cable projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams and oversee the design and implementation of complex engineering projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance.
Requirements
  • Advanced structural engineering knowledge, including load-bearing capacity, material properties, and design codes.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software, such as SAP2000 or ETABS.
  • Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its application to improve project visualization and coordination.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous but not mandatory.
