Shape a better future with our team of experts in water infrastructure. We are currently recruiting for a junior civil engineer to join our water team. The successful candidate will have a sound understanding and experience of the multi-disciplinary nature of infrastructure projects.
We value candidates who have a creative approach to problem solving, can work on their own initiative, and be proactive in driving digital delivery on projects. They will also have the ability to prepare technical designs for projects in accordance with approved design standards and procedures.
- We require candidates to have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering discipline. A Master's degree would be beneficial but not essential.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in the design of flood relief schemes, pumping stations and drainage pipelines.
- They will also need to have the ability to undertake structural calculations to support the design of flood defence elements using first principles and relevant structural modelling software.
