Project Manager - Construction

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Project Manager - Construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project management construction and engineering teams, developing detailed programs for works, and ensuring that adequate resources are available to complete projects within schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Closely collaborate with all disciplines (Client, Architectural, Engineering and EHS) to ensure the success of the project.
  • Develop a comprehensive program for works including sub-contractors and other disciplines to ensure effective project execution.
  • Ensure every member of the project team is aware of their roles and responsibilities associated with the project.
  • Communicate with directors on project progress and represent the company in meetings with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee projects cost control and report performance on a regular basis.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing project costs and budget while managing procurement and supply chain.
  • Develop and manage project communication with all stakeholders via regular meetings.
  • Represent the company at meetings and site visits as required.
  • Lead by example in regard to safety to encourage site operatives, clients, and management to adopt the company's safety ethos and culture.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role.
  • BSC Degree or higher in Construction, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, teamwork, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of legal requirements, especially in regard to the engineering role and duties.
  • Ability to write and evaluate reports.
  • Responsibility for own professional development.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office software.
