About the Role

SPEEDECK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Addiction Services Program Lead to coordinate and deliver the Treatment and Recovery Programme (TARP) in the Irish Prison Service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the ongoing development of the TARP programme, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Create and maintain working relationships with the prison management team ensuring collaborative service delivery.
  • Ensure that assessments are carried out for all people in the prison system who are identified as requiring support related to their substance use.
Essential Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A 3rd level qualification in addiction or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience of working in a leadership role within the field of addiction services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
