Social Care Director

This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of two residential centres, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and national standards.
The successful candidate will be required to provide strong leadership, governance and operational oversight in order to create a nurturing, safe and supportive environment for young people and team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team in providing high-quality care to children
- Oversee the day-to-day management of two residential centres
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Provide leadership, motivation and role modeling to foster good team relations and performance
- A minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role in social care
- An appropriate qualification (Level 7 on the QQI scale or higher) in social care
- A working knowledge of the HIQA National Standards for Children's Residential Centres and associated regulations and guidance
- A minimum of five years' experience of working in a Social Care Grade in a Children's Residential Centre as relevant to the role
Suitable candidates should have excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of social care practices and a commitment to delivering high quality services to vulnerable individuals.
