Solar System Magnetospheres Researcher
This two-year postdoctoral fellowship is available to support research on planetary radio emissions, solar wind-magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling, and the classification of the dynamic field and plasma environment at Mercury.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on one of three themes: studying how planetary radio emissions can be used to explore solar wind-magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling; classifying the dynamic field and plasma environment at Mercury with data from NASA MESSENGER and looking toward future measurements by BepiColombo; or exploring Jupiter's magnetosphere with NASA Juno.
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team and contribute to advancing our understanding of the solar system. The selected individual will have the opportunity to collaborate with other researchers locally and internationally.
Applicants should have a PhD in space physics or computer science and a good command of English. Experience with programming in Python is advantageous.
