Industrial Operations Specialist

This role involves operating machinery, processing materials and ensuring high-quality production standards across various manufacturing operations.
- Operate, set up and process machinery in line with internal and ISO quality standards.
- Inspect materials, carry out quality checks and ensure accurate documentation of all processes.
- Maintain a safe, clean and efficient work environment.
- Perform visual inspections and ensure correct use of materials and tools.
- Achieve accurate production data entry and inventory adjustments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
- Support team objectives and company policies.
The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving, communication and documentation skills, with the ability to operate machinery and handle materials safely.
They must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending and lifting throughout an 8-hour shift. Leaving Certificate (Level 5) or equivalent is required, with previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment being desirable.
Career Progression- Level I: Training period under supervision (probationary).
- Level II: Limited supervision, responsible for standard operations and process documentation.
- Level III: Independent work, ability to raise quality issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Level IV: Expert level, cross-trained, minimal supervision, leading on quality/process decisions.
