About the Team
Our manufacturing engineering teams are process leaders for stamping, molding, or assembly-related topics. They ensure processes run at optimum levels for quality and output.
These experts possess extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, including mold tooling, die tooling, machining, and assembly techniques.
They design and develop manufacturing processes and automation platforms, applying them for new product developments and optimizing existing products.
The teams also support product development in the selection and optimization of tools for piece part production and the selection of suitable manufacturing concepts relative to planned manufacturing quantities, quality requirements, and manufacturing location.
They act as an interface between engineering and production to ensure manufacturability of new designs and smooth production ramp-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Production Support team to drive process improvements.
- Develop, troubleshoot, standardize, and improve existing production methods and procedures with Manufacturing Engineers.
- Provide technical support for chemical cleaning and associated effluent treatment processes.
- Assist in conducting IQ/OQ/PQ process of equipment.
- Design, specify, manufacture, test, and document production equipment, changes, and improvements.
- Take responsibility for preventative maintenance procedures with an assigned process or area.
- Interface with various personnel and outside vendors when necessary.
- Implement technical improvements under the team's Continuous Improvement program.
