Speech Language Pathologist K-8 Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong passion for helping students achieve their full potential, and a commitment to providing high-quality services that meet the unique needs of each student.

  • Evaluate students' speech-language abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students based on IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments, interpret results, and create reports on strengths and areas of concern in speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills
  • Stay current with professional literature, evidence-based research, and continuing education to inform practice decisions
  • Develop efficient learning environments and effective process management strategies
  • Collaborate with instructional staff to create strength-based, child-centered treatment plans
  • Ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery align with school, state, and federal guidelines
  • Support teachers in identifying and addressing suspected or identified speech and language delays/disorders

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid MI SLP license
  • Clinical Fellows welcome to apply
