Lead Electrical Estimator Job

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of expertise and leadership skills.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced electrical estimator to lead our team in the estimation process. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex electrical or T&D tenders, with strong commercial sense and technical knowledge.

The ideal candidate will be confident in their ability to back their numbers in front of clients, and have experience in coordinating drawings, documents, suppliers, and sub-contractors. They will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with the Engineering and Operations teams.

This role reports directly into the Group Estimating Manager, and offers a solid salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire estimation process, including coordinating drawings, documents, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
  • Work closely with the Estimating Manager to standardize estimation processes and ensure accuracy.
  • Mentor other estimators and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Sit at the commercial top table during adjudication calls.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading complex electrical or T&D tenders.
  • Strong commercial sense and technical knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
