Job Overview

This Energy Engineer Civil Design position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of projects within the energy sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering civil design and project management activities, collaborating closely with project engineers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver projects in accordance with agreed timelines, quality standards, and client expectations.
  • Oversee the preparation of civil and CAD design documentation, ensuring seamless collaboration with project teams.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progress.
  • Maintain adherence to internal quality assurance and management systems, guaranteeing excellence in every aspect of the project.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations, prioritizing the well-being of personnel and the public.
  • Collaborate effectively with other members of the project team to deliver high-quality results and meet client expectations.
Requirements
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is essential for this role.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in civil design is required, with a strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Candidates from a consultancy background are particularly encouraged to apply, given their existing knowledge of industry best practices.
  • Previous experience in civil design for renewable energy projects, such as solar farms or wind farms, is highly desirable, as is a strong interest in transitioning into this sector.
  • We also consider candidates with civil design and environmental engineering experience at the planning stage of projects, who possess the skills and expertise to excel in this role.
  • Chartered Engineer status is an advantage, but not a requirement.
