We are seeking a Civil Design and Renewable Energy Specialist to join our multidisciplinary consultancy team. The role involves expanding expertise and broadening professional experience in infrastructure, energy, and environmental services.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of our Energy and Planning division, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team. This position provides opportunities to contribute to activities within the Energy and Planning sector, including civil design, project management, environmental assessments, and preliminary design for renewable energy developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver projects in line with agreed timelines, quality standards, and client expectations.
  • Oversee and coordinate the preparation of civil and CAD design documentation, working closely with Project Engineers and Engineering Technicians.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain adherence to internal Quality Assurance and Management Systems.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with other members of the project team to ensure seamless project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in civil design.
  • Candidates from a consultancy background are particularly encouraged to apply.
  • Previous civil design experience on Solar Farms, Wind Farms (onshore or offshore), or a strong interest in transitioning into the renewable energy sector, is highly desirable.
  • We will also consider candidates with civil design and environmental engineering experience at the planning stage of projects.
  • Chartered Engineer status is an advantage.
  • Highly motivated professional with strong energy and drive.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical abilities.
