The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site assessments, evaluating site conditions and resource availability, and determining project feasibility. They will also write technical reports, conduct energy audits, undertake design calculations and reporting, and participate in client meetings. Additionally, they will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to produce planning documents and submit planning applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out site assessments for renewable energy generation projects.
- Write technical reports to a high standard.
- Conduct energy audits to identify inefficiencies and recommend actionable solutions.
- Undertake design calculations and reporting independently.
- Participate in client and internal meetings as part of the energy team.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to produce planning documents and submit planning applications.
- Supervise junior team members and review work items.
Requirements:
- Hold an honours degree in civil, mechanical, electrical or energy engineering.
- Have at least 5 years' relevant experience in engineering consultancy or energy management.
- Experience in Energy Auditing, Energy Efficient Design, Renewable Energy Feasibility and Design, Planning Applications.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of BIM.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
