The role you're applying for is a Senior Consultant within our growing Fund Accounting department.
This position involves coordinating and leading systems testing and procedures in the team.
You will also take on technical and subject matter expert roles, handle specific fund requirements, and mentor individuals during projects and assignments.
As a Senior Consultant, you'll be responsible for developing an understanding of industry trends and emerging issues, analyzing and procedurally competent to lead cross-function process or project deliverables.
This role may involve direct reports, requiring experience in designing and implementing development plans, training plans, and succession plans for all levels of staff.
Able to lead long-term strategy for the department, instill a client service culture among staff, and ensure that all clients receive a quality service.
In this position, you'll identify, assist, and delegate projects/assignments and tasks to individuals and peers, maintaining accountability and providing progression feedback and recognition.
Your key responsibilities include engaging with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements, managing stated stakeholder needs, proactive problem-solving, and issue resolution.
The ideal candidate will have previous fund accounting experience or relevant operational/accounting experience.
Detailed knowledge of Enterprise and related Fund Accounting applications is preferred, along with the ability to implement interfaces with other systems.
Maintain an understanding of the industry and NT's systems, infrastructure, and process/data flows.
Experience with vendors such as Bloomberg and Reuters is advantageous, as well as strong communication, first-class presentation, and internal and external client-servicing skills.
This role requires good prioritization, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to think creatively, organize own workload, and establish priorities.
Excellent PC skills, especially MS Excel, are essential.
